Approach Detection with Welcome Mat

Once parked, MKC awaits your return. Sensing your approach (up to eight feet away), exterior lighting brightens. Door-handle pockets glow with soft lighting tuned to complement the vehicle's color. A Lincoln welcome mat illuminates the entrance in front of both the driver and passenger doors. Once you are in the car, available warm ambient cabin lighting glows warmly.

Peaceful Space

The Lincoln MKC interior is designed to help keep sound from the outside from coming inside. In fact, interior noise is greatly diminished with active noise control, felted wheel wells, pedestal-style door-mounted mirrors that are designed to minimize wind noise, and specially laminated glass that reduces outside road noise.

Hands-Free Liftgate

With the MKC key in your pocket or purse, simply kick your foot under the rear bumper. The available hands-free power liftgate effortlessly glides open to reveal the rear cargo area. Press a button on the liftgate or gently kick your foot under the rear bumper and the liftgate smoothly closes.

Attentive Interior

The Lincoln MKC combines luxury with contemporary design. The driver's seat features 10-way power. Lincoln Luxury Soft-Touch Seating Surfaces are standard, and Bridge of Weir® Deepsoft leather-trimmed seats are available. Aluminum trim or available wood trim provides attractive accents. And to keep you and your front-seat passenger comfortable, the front seats are heated, and dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control provides individual climate control.

Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel

The steering wheel is wrapped in available hand-stitched Wollsdorf leather, hailing from the Alpine region of central Europe. It flawlessly complements the exquisite craftsmanship and luxurious comfort of the MKC interior.

Intelligent All-Wheel Drive

Available Intelligent AWD uses sensors to constantly monitor traction. It balances torque between the front and rear wheels to enhance handling and maximize traction, typically before wheelslip can even occur.

Electric Power-Assisted Steering (EPAS)

EPAS is an important component in the Lincoln Drive Control system. It provides an easy, fluid steering feel at low speeds and a firmer, more controlled feel at higher speeds. And that's not all. It also constantly adapts to changing road conditions and compensates for those irregularities.

Lane-Keeping System

It happens to the best of drivers - unintentionally drifting out of the driving lane. That's when you'll appreciate the available Lane-Keeping System.61 When activated, the system can detect when the car is drifting out of its lane and warn you through a subtle vibration in the steering wheel. Additional settings allow the system to apply a steering torque that assists you to steer back to the correct path.

Intelligent Access with Push-Button Shift

There's no gear shift knob in your center console. That gives you more room, providing an airy cabin and open, flowing design. Designers put the transmission controls in a vertical series of ergonomic buttons on the center instrument panel. MKC also provides the fun and and control of a manual transmission. Press the "S" button to activate the Sport mode. This lets you shift gears using the paddle shifters located on the steering wheel without having to engage a clutch.
