Performance

4.10 Rear Axle

Optional on Navigator, standard on Navigator L. It optimizes torque for quicker, off-the-line acceleration and enhanced towing performance compared with a 3.73 axle.

Multilink Rear Suspension

The Lincoln Navigator is one of the very few full-size SUVs engineered with an independent multilink rear suspension (IRS) system that enables each wheel to negotiate bumps and jolts on its own terms, providing enhanced ride quality and control.

Superior ride and handling aren't the only benefits. The Navigator IRS features our patented "porthole-in-frame" design in which steel halfshafts pass through elliptical portholes in the frame. This design allows for a lower and fully flat load floor, increased passenger and cargo volume, a lower rear ride height for enhanced aerodynamics, plus a lower step-in height to help make getting in and out easier.

Family Friendly

Six Standard Airbags

Lincoln Navigator has six standard airbags to help protect you and your passengers.* There are dual-stage front-seat airbags, front-seat-mounted side airbags and side-curtain airbags (part of the Safety Canopy® System)* that deploy from the headliner on both sides of the vehicle. A rollover sensor activates the side-curtain airbags in the event of a rollover or certain side-impact collisions.

Rear View Camera

A rear view camera is just one of the many impressive standard features you'll find on Lincoln Navigator.* Activated when you shift into reverse, it can show you certain objects that are behind your vehicle. It can also be a helpful assistant when you're connecting a trailer. A video image is displayed on the navigation screen, with red, yellow and green guidelines providing an easy reference for how far an object is behind you as it moves from one color to the next.

Technology

Lincoln Welcome Mat

Once parked, the updated Navigator awaits your return with an enhanced puddle light. Open the door and the Lincoln Welcome Mat illuminates the ground as warm cabin lighting welcomes you in.

Passive Entry and Push-Button Start

The 2016 Navigator features Intelligent Access with push-button start. With the key fob in your pocket, purse or briefcase, just open the driver's door. Once inside, press the brake pedal and then the start button, shift into gear and you're ready to go.

Luxury

Reserve Package

Exquisite style and luxury await you. Ziricote genuine wood inlays, premium leather seating surfaces in all three rows, an all-new cargo area floor mat and 22-inch polished aluminum wheels come standard in the Reserve Package. Power-deployable running boards are available in chrome with this package.

Lincoln Leather

Geneva leather is a premium, non-chrome leather that lets the natural beauty of the grain shine through. Warm, inviting and durable, its innate softness and suppleness make it a natural match for the most selective and exclusive of vehicles.

The inserts with micro-perforation and the bolsters in the Reserve Package come in Ebony Del Rio leather for an even more luxurious environment.
